About USRowing:
USRowing is a nonprofit organization recognized by the United States Olympic and Paralympic Committee as the national governing body for the sport of rowing in the United States. The organization’s mission is to steward, strengthen, and grow American rowing by championing performance and igniting new passion for the sport.

USRowing selects, trains, and manages the teams that represent the U.S. in international competition. The organization serves multiple constituencies including novice learn-to-rowers, parents of rowers, masters rowers, adaptive rowers, collegiate rowers, indoor rowers and, most recently, coastal rowers.

We are focused on growing diversity, equity, and inclusion within the sport of rowing on a national scale, on increasing support for our national team programs, and providing additional benefits and value to our over 77,000 individual members and 1,430 rowing organizations.

Job Summary:

USRowing seeks multiple candidates who are interested in being a USRowing Timing Contractor for the 2026 regatta season. USRowing is partnering with Time-Team as our official domestic timing partner for the upcoming regatta season.

Time-Team is a regatta management systems & software company that provides a full-service regatta package including timing software and equipment, broadcast video-graphics, and both in-person and remote customer support. Time-Team is focused exclusively on user-friendly, reliable, and extensible timing operations for the rowing world.

USRowing Timing Contractors will be the USRowing on-site points-of-contact leading all timing operations at selected regattas. Each contractor will travel to a select regatta, be in charge of setting up the timing equipment (FinishLynx Camera, timing tablets, timing computer, etc.), instructing the referees and volunteers on their duties that contribute to the overall timing of the regatta, and running the full timing operation at the regatta.

USRowing Timing Contractors will have direct access to Time-Team system training in advance along with real-time virtual support from Time-Team throughout regattas. Timing contractors will also be provided with access to a FinishLynx training manual as part of their onboarding process. This guide covers all aspects of operating the FinishLynx camera system. Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
